    Our historical Irish Cottage is directly opposite Killarney National Park, in fact just steps from the front door, famous for its renowned lakes and woodland walks.


    Here you will find wonderful attractions including  Killarney House,  Deenach Cottage,  Ross Castle.  St. Mary's Cathedral is a five minute walk & Killarney Town Centre is a 10 minute walk from Ivy Cottage.  An abundance of wonderful restaurants from fine dining, traditional home-made Irish specialities, to pizzerias & great take-aways to suit all pockets.  Killarney's famous Public Houses, Pubs, Bars & nightclubs with traditional Irish music, & rock will keep you entertained from morning till night.

     Kerry Airport is 20 minutes from Ivy Cottage.  Killarney Railway & Bus Station is a 20min walk or 5 minute taxi ride, from Ivy Cottage.


    Nearby the spectacular Lakes of Killarney, Muckross House

    & Gardens, Torc Waterfall, The Gap of Dunloe & Lord Brandons Cottage await you for wonderful day trips.  The famous Ring of Kerry,  Skellig Ring, and Dingle Bay are wonderful drives along the Wild Atlantic Way.  Travel on tours,  bus, walking, cycling, car or traditional horse pulled jaunting car.  With surfing and swimming in the sea (20miles), fishing nearby on Killarney's Lakes & Rivers (with permit).

    Parking is available for one Vehicle when renting Ivy Cottage. Car parking is entirely the responsibility of guests.

    Free Street parking is available off site when staying for B&B at your discretion.

    Traditional Irish Cottage

    Our traditional cottage was built by Lord Kenmare in c1847 and still retains all the original charming character.

    We will be delighted to help you plan your vacation in our town and  give you information on tours, golf, fishing, boat trips, walking & cycling routes.  We can advise on booking trips to see The Ring of Kerry, Skellig Ring, The Skellig Rocks, Dingle and Kenmare.  We can help with information on booking your trips and events either privately or with a group.
